Allison Adams, the 2011 American Honey Princess, will visit Minnesota August 29-September 4. She will make appearances at the Minnesota State Fair with the Minnesota Honey Producers Association during her stay, speaking to fairgoers about the importance of honeybees to Minnesota agriculture and will share information about honey’s versatility in and out of the kitchen. 2008 Bobble Bee Award
The 2008 Bobble Bee Award was presented to Dwight Hull and family. The award is given each year to recognize outstanding service given to the organization by a member. Pictured from right to left, are Ruth Hull, Dwight Hull with their granddaughter and the 2008 MN Honey Queen Allison Hull. Their family has been in beekeeping over 100 years. Every member of the family has given multiple time and wisdom to the MHPA organization. MHPA Queen Allison is a 4th generation beekeeper. She was crowned the American Beekeeping Federation's 2009 ABF Honey Princess when she went on to compete nationally. The MHPA is proud to honor their success.
